Leading the way
yourtown is one of the pioneers of work-based social enterprises in Australia, having provided over 4,000 young people with paid work experience and training since 2000.
With over 25 years providing services across four states, yourtown social enterprises operate a range of trade and business services to provide meaningful employment opportunities for young people between the ages of 16 - 24.
Our team, which consists of 30+ professionals, operate successful construction, grounds maintenance and digital marketing teams, providing transitional employment for up to 200 young people a year.
Participants are given the opportunity to work alongside Enterprise Trainers and Youth Workers, providing them with training and supervision as well as mentoring support.
We provide participants with exposure to a wide range of areas such as construction and property maintenance, landscaping and horticulture, government, council, digital marketing and custom services.
