Understanding real needs and implementing effective solutions drives yourtown’s commitment to research, evaluation and advocacy.

Our work with young people positions us to understand the issues that impact their lives. Evidence-based insights via research and evaluation are used to inform and support advocacy activities including social policy debate.

Publications include government submissions and evaluation and research reports about social welfare issues. Our Annual Kids Helpline Overview offers insight on the evolving issues impacting young people in Australia.
