BoysTown Senior Researcher, Salote Scharr, is gaining international attention for her research into the impact of training and employment programs on disadvantaged young people.

EDUCATION. RESEARCH. INNOVATION.

She has been invited to join the International Scientific Advisory Board for EDULEARN15, the 7th Annual International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies.

The forum is internationally recognised as a preeminent event showcasing the latest developments in teaching and learning methods, educational projects and innovations, and new technologies for education and research.

Salote will join a select group of professors and researchers from around the world who will help decide on the presenters for the event in Barcelona in July 2015.

She is encouraging others to get involved. Submit your proposal to contribute to EDULEARN15 (in person or virtually) with your experiences and projects in the area of education, research and innovation. The deadline for abstract submission is 26 March, 2015.

Participation at these events helps to maintain a global perspective on issues affecting young people. BoysTown is proud to be at the forefront and striving to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people. Salote Scharr
