Kids Helpline @ School helps

By: yourtown 09 Jan 2015 Kids Helpline

Working closely with so many children and young people, we get a true insight into issues that are really impacting them. Bullying, family relationships and managing emotions come up again and again.

HELP. COUNSELLING. SUPPORT.

Kids Helpline @ School was conceived as a way to help. The program offers primary school classroom sessions with a counsellor to talk openly about issues and break down barriers for children who are afraid or anxious to reach out for help.

Kids Helpline Counsellor Todd Orchard has been with the program since the beginning.

“It is great to see a program that is effectively using technology and allowing counsellors to share our skills. I find the sessions fun and informative with the emphasis placed on it being an interactive environment and students taking part.”

Kids Helpline is committed to making children and young people across Australia aware of our service and feel comfortable accessing our counsellors, which will help improve their quality of life. Todd Orchard.
